Storyline: A boy stowaway on a rocket to space is taken in by the crew and helps them in their research on other worlds. When they begin dying off due to viruses, he (now an adult) flies the rocket back to Earth, only to discover it is now an uninhabited dead world.

Martian procreation is done through binary fission like amoebas. Realizing that humanity is doomed, everyone returns to Earth except for one man. He decides to stay behind and miraculously goes through binary fission, splitting into two!

Storyline: The robot Adam Link is spared the death penalty and officially becomes a citizen. He sets up a business and becomes a humanitarian, clearing out slums so poor people can live in new upscale homes. When his secretary falls in love with him, the human emotions he feels confuses him, and he decides to flee out into the woods to live in isolation.
