Stan will be a speaker during the popular culture session at the American Studies Association in Washington D.C. in October. In other news, Marvel explains why the double-sized issues for 25 cents were replaced by 36 page 20 cent issues. Fantasy authors James Jakes and Michael Moorcock have plotted stories for Conan. Roy Thomas attended the New York Comic Art Convention, where Frank Frazetta complimented Roy on the Conan comics.
