Phantom of the Plains

Story featuring Porky Pig

Storyline: Porky and Petunia go to the "Bar-Soap Ranch," owned by Petunia's uncle Baked Ham. On the way they are held up by Sylvester, who has been hypnotized by a criminal named Hypnotic Harry. Sylvester snaps out of his trance and the Sheriff arrives to explain the situation. The villain hitches a ride to the Bar-Soap Ranch where he kidnaps Petunia's uncle and leaves a note saying he prefers to be called "The Phantom" instead of Hypnotic Harry. Further investigation shows that Petunia's uncle had just found a map to a lost gold mine and that map is missing, too.
