Storyline: Cliff Forrest, a disabled war veteran who has been told he only has six months to live, returns to his home town in the southwest; only to find that his parents have lost their ranch.
Storyline: Lyrics to a traditional cowboy song about 1870s Texas outlaw Sam Bass. Ten stanzas with one black and white illustration on the inside cover. One large color illustration on the back cover with a repeat of the third stanza.
