Story Featuring Superman

Clark and Lois are on the way to Florida to check out the status of the Metropolis baseball club, when they accidentally miss the train in a small town. Waiting for the next one, they spy a young man who has great prowess at pitching...a guy who wishes he could play for a professional club. Superman helps that small town boy become a professional baseball player.
Ed Dobrotka is not credited in the Archive edition. The "pullman window" joke on page 7 is a direct reference to Jerry Siegel's appearance on Fred Allen's radio program.
